Basic science behind latex: Latex balloons are biodegradable and photodegradable (capable of being decomposed by the action of light, especially sunlight.). Latex balloons oxidize when they are outside, their shiny appearance will turn to matte. When you see a transparent balloon start to "fog up" when it's in the sun, you'll see it start to rust and photodegrade. The degradation rate is highly variable since it is influenced by many variables such as temperature, the amount of light andthe presence of latex-consuming microbes.
Confused? Don’t be. Know this...Balloons pop and deflate over time due to being outside in the sun, humidity, wind and changes in temperature. Weather happens and will effect the lifespan of your balloon art. Sometimes balloons explode or pop just because (so frustrating). They can last a few hours, a day, a couple of days or to the point you being tired of celebrating (is that possible????)
Know this, Lofty Bunch wants the best outcome for the order. We will replace any balloon that we pop upon transportation/delivery. Lofty Bunch can not guarantee balloons will last after we leave a venue or delivery therefore when we complete a delivery, the balloons are no longer Lofty Bunch’s responsibility.

Can I choose my own color schemes and designs?

Yes! Each product offered is able to be customized with your color choices and event theme. We have our suppliers set and can order any color or themed.

Can you make something that I have found online and isn’t listed on your site?

Yes! Lofty Bunch is a new business and we just wanted to get product up and out there so we start providing balloon designs for all sorts of events and celebrations. We would love to hear from you and collaborate to make your ideas a reality. Call or email us today and lets get started!

If my design requires a special order how long does that take?

At least a week ahead of your event/celebration or more is requested. This time allows us to ensure product availability and delivery to our studio. (especially due to slow delivery times due to COVID-19)

What if it is shorter than a week advance notice?

Lofty Bunch wants to produce and deliver the best pizzazz possible. But life and experiences don’t always fit with the best scenario time line. Contact us and lets chat about your needs and expectations. We are sure we can make something work for you.

Does Lofty Bunch offer helium options for design?

Why do you charge a delivery charge and how much is it?

In order to promote and encourage social distancing and over all respect for your family and mine’s health, Lofty Bunch offers contactless delivery for our designs. Delivery is the only option at this time. It is $10 delivery fee for any West Linn deliveries.

Do you deliver outside of West Linn city limits?

Yes, however the charge for delivery is $20 for Lake Oswego, Wilsonville and Oregon City delivery area. Outside of these three areas but within the Portland metro area is $30 fee. The fee will be added to your total when you complete your order.

How come I can’t come and pick it up?

Unfortunately, due to the pandemic pick up options are not available.
Balloons pop! Lofty Bunch is highly conscious of the fragility of balloons, transporting them can be disastrous especially if your car isn’t big enough or if you drive with the windows down. We want it to look like it did when it was created, with all the intentions and flare! With that said, we do not guarantee the life of balloons, remember they do pop!

How does the delivery work?

Contactless delivery is completed by Lofty Bunch leaving your order on your front porch or at your front door. We will call and text you when we walk away so you may retrieve your items safely. A person (18 years or older) does need to be home and available to take the balloons off the porch to eliminate wind damage or loss to your order. Large yard stakes will be placed in the ground close to your front door or easy retrieval if you have not provided a location for installation. Small yard sticks will be placed in a plastic bag and left on the front porch.

I can’t be home all day, when will it be delivered?

No one likes waiting around, we get it. We will offer a two hour window for your delivery, morning, early afternoon or afternoon based upon availability. You will be given a time window based upon availability when you pay for your item(s). We will text you when we are headed your way to ensure someone will be there for delivery.

How does your payment process work?

What are your thoughts about balloon releases?

Lofty Bunch does not support the release of balloons. Balloons can harm an animal before it has a chance to biodegrade. This is why we advise our clients to follow Smart Balloon Practices - Don’t Let Go - Inflate * Weight* Enjoy.

Are Latex balloons recyclable? Are balloons sustainable?

Yes, latex balloons are 100% recyclable. Lofty Bunch has sourced the best latex balloons available. Our latex balloons are biodegradable, and decompose as fast as an oak leaf in your backyard. Latex balloons come from rubber trees. Latex is collected by cutting the tree’s bark, then catching the latex in a cup. Latex harvesting doesn’t hurt the tree! Latex balloons are Earth-friendly! Rubber trees grow in rain forests. Latex harvesting discourages deforestation because latex-producing trees are left intact. A tree can produce latex for up to 40 years.

I want to be a good steward of the earth. How do I dispose of my latex balloons, yard stakes and ribbon?

Cut your balloon into small pieces (this will help it biodegrade quickly and ensure no animals are harmed by large pieces of balloons) You can place latex balloon pieces in your compost pile or in the trash. Remember they decompose at the same rate as an oak leaf.
Reuse/repurpose the yard pole in your garden or yard or next yard sale.
Repurpose the ribbon for use on gifts, cards, or anything else you can imagine!

What is your refund policy?

ALL balloons are final sale.
A full refund to the original form of payment can be issued if orders are canceled at least 7 days prior to your scheduled delivery date.
A partial refund will be issued if you are canceling 3-5 days of your scheduled delivery date. You will receive the full delivery fee back to the original form of payment but if we had to special order or order any products those costs will be non refundable.

Fine Print:

Once a delivery is complete the balloons are no longer Lofty Bunch’s responsibility
Lofty Bunch will replace any balloon that we pop but if you/someone else/family pet/Mother Nature pops/loses/steals/destroys/damages/pokes (feel free to add to this list) or lets go of a balloon Lofty Bunch is not responsible.
